Overwatch fans out there are about to get their biggest batch of new heroes yet, with 5 new ones joining the roster of the free-to-play hero shooter today. If you want to see them in action, a new trailer just dropped.

This update represents “Season 1” of what is now known simply as “Overwatch”, with Blizzard rebooting the series and scrapping the Overwatch 2 moniker. Going forward, the game will have a greater emphasis on storylines.

Overwatch (2) is also promised to launch on Switch 2 in the near future, alongside the Season 2 update, likely in April. For now, you’ll have to make do with the Switch 1 edition.

Overwatch is available as a free-to-play title.
