Despite being released on the Japanese eShop a week ago, Braid: Anniversary Edition Switch 2 Edition wasn’t available on the EU or US eShops until now.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of the game offers a few improvements over the Switch 1 Edition, namely, you’ll see an increase in framerate from 60 FPS to 120 FPS. You’ll also be able to play at 1080p in handheld mode and 4k when docked.

On top of that, there has been some texture reworking to improve the quality, and some additional developer commentary has been recorded.

If you already own Braid: Anniversary Edition on the original Switch, you can upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition for $2.99.
