Yoshi is a favourite character of many, and fans of his may want to get their hands on the latest Toy tie-in with the Super Mario Galaxy movie.

Both Walmart (US) and Smyths (UK) have listed the Hatchin’ Yoshi toy, an interactive Yoshi egg that rocks, hatches, and lights up.

The toy is approximately 6″ tall, so it’s a fairly decent size. It will set you back a pretty penny, though, as the toy will cost $49.99 in the US and a whopping £59.99 in the UK, so this might be best suited to American audiences.

After Yoshi has hatched, you can also place him in the egg to use it as a display stand.

The Hatchin’ Yoshi toy is expected to be in stock from April 1st, the same time as the Super Mario Galaxy movie launches in theatres. It’s available to pre-order now.
