People of Note, the new turn-based RPG by Annapurna and Iridium Studios has been confirmed for Switch 2 and has received a release date of April 7th.

This musical RPG follows the story of Cadence as she builds her band for a shot at the Noteworthy Song Contest.

All is not well in the world, however. Dark forces are amassing, and you’ll need to participate in rhythm-based combat to defeat your opponents, and maybe even do a collab with your bandmates to unleash some intense damage.

The developers are also keen to note that the game will be very customizable, to the point of being able to disable certain puzzles or combat in order to tailor the game to your needs.

People of Note launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on April 7th, 2026. There’s no store page for Switch 2 yet, as it’s just been announced, but you can check out the Steam store page for more information.
