No Man’s Sky is the gift that keeps giving, and the first major update of 2026 is here in the form of the Remnant update. This update adds the Gravitino Coil, allowing you to move large objects with ease, modifiable Colossus Exos, and a new expedition taking advantage of our shiny new trucks!
We’ve also got the addition of Industrial Waste, new facilities on scrap planets, furnaces mounted on exocraft to manage said waste, and the ability to excavate resources with your exocraft.
And as is tradition with a No Man’s Sky update, they improved the look of the clouds… again.

In the biggest news for Switch players, the modifiable spaceships known as Corvettes are now available on our beloved handheld. We also now have multi-threaded rendering on both Switch and Switch 2 editions, improving game performance.
No Man’s Sky is available now on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 1 and Switch 2 for $59.99.
