In case you were wondering how long Pokémon Pokopia might take to “complete”, well, the game’s director has the answer for you. 20-40 hours, depending on how you choose to play the game. We imagine there is a fair amount of things to do in the game, and that time frame accounts for whether you spend time beautifying your space or if you are more focused on progression.

Regardless, that time merely represents how long it’s expected to take players to reach the end credits roll, and is not necessarily indicative of how much content is actually in the game, because, as you might expect, you can continue playing after the credits roll to improve your Pokémon paradise.
Pokémon Pokopia is being developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force team, who previously worked on the similar Dragon Quest Builders 2 game, so expect to see some familiar mechanics at play.
Pokémon Pokopia is due to be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5th, 2026, for $69.99
