As was rumoured a few days ago, we are getting a “remaster” of sorts for the original 1995 Rayman game.
Announced during Sony’s State of Play event last night, the 1995 classic platformer Rayman is indeed getting a 30th anniversary edition. This re-release will feature the original releases of the game on MS-DOS, PS1, Atari Jaguar, as well as the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance versions of the game. Plus, a prototype of the unreleased SNES version of the game will be playable.
Also included are additional levels (120) from the likes of Rayman Gold and Rayman Forever, along with 50 minutes of interviews with the 1995 game’s developers. The soundtrack has also been reworked.
Best of all is the price tag, launching on the original Switch for just $19.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
