It’s hard to get excited for a Star Trek game these days. After the heyday of the late 90s and early 00s, when we had an abundance of quality Star Trek titles like Elite Force, Starfleet Command, and Armada, we’re pretty much begging for a quality Star Trek game.

Will Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown be the one? Well, we’ll have to wait and see, but we have just been treated to a 10-minute video detailing how the building mechanics will work in the game as you work to rebuild the USS Voyager.

The video talks about how you’ll need to balance your resources to keep your ship running smoothly. But first, you’ll need to restore your ship, as was the case in the TV series, your ship begins with some heavy damage, so you’ll need to get to work on repairing and restoring your vessel back to its former glory.

Not only that, but you’ll also have to deal with the many external threats that the Delta Quadrant has to offer.
